The aim of the project is to create, test, refine and disseminate an innovative educational tool – an ONLINE GAME serving as a SIMULATOR for learning to recognize fake news, as well as 20 ACTIVATING LESSON SCENARIOS increasing knowledge in this area in digital didactics for school youth in Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. The project addresses the problem of fake news which has become a threat to EU values at the school education level.

Project implementation stages:

Etap 1: Creating preliminary (test) versions of innovative educational tools in the form of an ONLINE GAME-SIMULATOR and 20 ACTIVATING LESSON SCENARIOS for learning to recognize fake news

Etap 2: Testing newly created educational tools in school environments in Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia among min. 180 students to verify their educational effectiveness

Etap 3: Developing final versions of newly created educational tools based on feedback from the testing phase

Etap 4: Disseminating newly created educational tools in the broadly understood educational environment in these 3 countries

The result of the project will be the creation and wide-scale dissemination of a digital educational tool in the form of an ONLINE GAME serving as a SIMULATOR and 20 ACTIVATING LESSON SCENARIOS serving a didactic function in teaching critical thinking and media literacy skills based on knowledge about the contemporary problem of fake news at the school education level (strengthening the education system) in Poland, Slovakia and Czech Republic.
