How to use the platform?

To start using the Simulator for learning to recognize fake news:

1) Create a TEACHER ACCOUNT

(one-time) by sending an email to office@fakestop.online including: • your first name • your last name • school name and address (response time up to 24h)

2) Log in

after receiving the reply email with LOGIN and PASSWORD, log in via the TEACHER LOGIN menu on the Educational Simulation Platform

3) Select your school

after logging in, select YOUR SCHOOL from the dropdown list

4) Add a class

add a NEW CLASS (providing its NAME and YEAR) or select one previously created

5) Generate student list

generate the STUDENT LIST by providing the number of students in the class ("NUMBER OF CODES") by clicking the "GENERATE CODES" button; if the class was already created, the STUDENT LIST preview will be available

6) Share codes with students

share the LOGIN CODES with your Students

7) First student login

during the first LOGIN, they will need to provide their NICKNAME (alias) – it can be, for example, first name and first letter of surname

8) Track progress

using the TEACHER ACCOUNT, you will be able to track Students' progress and help them with more difficult tasks if needed
